Aleister Black Released By WWE, Releases Statement

Another dark day in WWE is upon us.
WWE has confirmed the release of former NXT Champion Aleister Black.
The company released a short statement announcing the release:
WWE has come to terms on the release of Aleister Black.
WWE wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
WWE’s release of the 36-year old was first reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.
Black recently returned to WWE TV as a member of SmackDown after a lengthy absence.
Im gathering my thoughts as this was a complete left field for me as obviously we just started the dark father character but this was it, thank you so much WWE universe for allowing me to create and give you small bits of myself.

In November 2020, Black’s wife Zelina Vega was also released from WWE but has been reportedly in talks to return to the company in some capacity.
