In a recent dialogue with Tokyo Sports, AJ Styles spoke about WWE’s alliance with Pro Wrestling NOAH. He also shared his aspiration to witness the appearance of NOAH wrestlers in WWE events.
The professional wrestler expressed, “It’s still the initial phase, and I’m certain we’ll need to refine as we move forward. However, from my perspective, I would welcome more talent exchange between these two bodies. It would be valuable if not only WWE wrestlers visit NOAH but also the NOAH wrestlers get an opportunity to perform in WWE. This will not only help the NOAH’s wrestlers understand the American wrestling surroundings but also provide WWE Superstars a chance to comprehend Japan’s professional wrestling culture. It would be beneficial to nurture young wrestlers in this manner. My stint in Japan has shaped my career, making me the wrestler I am today. I urge WWE wrestlers that in order to earn genuine respect, they should consider gaining experience in Japan.”
Meanwhile, during the Pro Wrestling NOAH Destination 2024 co-feature event held at Budokan Hall on Saturday, Styles challenged NOAH’s Vice President Naomichi Marufuji.
Styles, the former WWE Champion, triumphed in the competition after successfully performing a Styles Clash.
