AJ Styles Hits Phenomenal Styles Clash, Denies Ricochet Entry Into The Royal Rumble

Ricochet had an important opportunity when he faced AJ Styles this week on WWE RAW. “The One and Only” had the chance to qualify for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match with a win over “The Phenomenal One.”
The two skilled competitors were evenly matched early on with their familiarity showing as they had a lengthy feud for the WWE United States Championship in 2019. A hurricanrana to the outside gave Ricochet the upper hand, but he accidentally dove into the arms of Omos. The giant then dropped Ricochet onto the floor.

Styles took control of the match, but Ricochet took control with a spinning DDT. He then flipped and hit a deadlift German suplex. But Styles drilled Ricochet with a forearm in mid-air. Ricochet shockingly hit the Recoil when Styles attempted the Phenomenal Forearm, but the former WWE Champion kicked out. In the end, Styles bounced Ricochet off the ropes and hit the Styles Clash for the win.
