AJ Styles Expresses Interest in a Rematch with John Cena, Ivy Nile Discusses Her WWE Signing

John Cena and AJ Styles have faced off in the past, and the latter is hoping to have one more match with Cena before he calls it a career.

Speaking on a recent edition of “The Collection” podcast with Brad Gilmore, the Phenomenal One said,

“I think there is a lot of us that would like to mix it up with Cena one last time. I’m definitely one of those guys. We had some chemistry that I can’t explain. Maybe it’s opposites attract”

He continued, “Me and John are definitely that kind of dance partners where it was always fun getting in the ring with him, it was always big, it was always special, and it was always great. I look forward to, hopefully, before he retires, jumping in the ring with him one more time.”

In a recent interview with “WWE Die Woche,” Ivy Nile discussed signing with WWE in January 2020 following her successful tryout at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Nile won The Rock’s “Titan Games” to earn her WWE tryout, and she was introduced in September 2021 as a member of the dominant Diamond Mine on NXT.

Nile said, “Nothing really happened much after that until I got an email a couple of months later, saying I was invited to [a] WWE tryout. And that was in Florida; I was living in Tennessee at the time… And, of course, me being who I am, the tryout was one of the best things ever. Make me try to throw up, pass out, all of it. I love it so much. Give it all to me.”

So ever since that day, everything I’ve been training for [in] my life kind of just made sense. Ever since that tryout, it made sense, and now I’m here.”

Nile made her WWE in-ring debut at an NXT live event in February 2020. She was called up to the RAW brand as part of the 2023 WWE Draft.

John Cena and AJ Styles are two iconic figures in the world of professional wrestling. They have faced off in the past, delivering memorable matches that have left fans wanting more. And it seems that AJ Styles shares the same sentiment.

In a recent episode of “The Collection” podcast with Brad Gilmore, Styles expressed his desire to have one more match with John Cena before the latter calls it a career. Styles mentioned the chemistry they had in the ring, which he couldn’t explain but attributed to the saying “opposites attract.”

Styles described his experience with Cena as always fun, big, special, and great. He eagerly looks forward to the opportunity to step into the ring with Cena once again before his retirement. The anticipation of a potential rematch between these two wrestling superstars has fans buzzing with excitement.

While Styles and Cena’s potential match is a hot topic among wrestling enthusiasts, another rising star in the WWE has been making waves. Ivy Nile, who signed with WWE in January 2020, recently shared her journey to joining the company.

Nile’s path to WWE began when she won The Rock’s “Titan Games,” earning her a tryout at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. After months of waiting, Nile received an email inviting her to the tryout. Despite the physical challenges she faced during the tryout, Nile expressed her love for the experience, stating that it made everything she had trained for in her life make sense.

Following her successful tryout, Nile made her in-ring debut at an NXT live event in February 2020. She then became a member of the dominant Diamond Mine faction on NXT in September 2021. Nile’s hard work and dedication paid off when she was called up to the RAW brand as part of the 2023 WWE Draft.

Nile’s journey from winning “Titan Games” to signing with WWE and making her way onto the main roster is an inspiring story for aspiring wrestlers. Her determination and passion for the sport have propelled her to new heights, and fans are excited to see what she brings to the table on RAW.

Both AJ Styles and Ivy Nile represent different stages in their wrestling careers. Styles, a seasoned veteran, hopes for one last dance with John Cena, while Nile, a rising star, is just beginning to make her mark in the WWE. Their stories serve as a reminder of the diverse talent and exciting matchups that the world of professional wrestling has to offer.
