Saraya’s biographical work, Hell in Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives, was launched last week. During her stint in “Busted Open Radio” podcast, she narrated her experience of penning the book.
The notable excerpts from the podcast are as follows:
About the journey of writing: “Writing this book was a challenging process. At times, it becomes quite intense. However, I’m glad that my story is now within the public domain. It’s akin to openly sharing my personal diary, a feeling I find odd as I tend not to disclose my sentiments often. The making of this book took two years – initially, I narrated my narrative to a ghostwriter. However, when I reviewed the book, it didn’t seem authentic, so I rewrote it myself.”
On the experience of revisiting the stories for the book: “I started from scratch, and revising the same stories was mentally draining. Nevertheless, I felt it was essential to get other perspectives.”
Bryan Keith admires learning from ROH World Champion Chris Jericho.
Keith is a member of Jericho’s The Learning Tree group. In his recent discussion on the “Battleground” podcast, he revealed his experiences of learning from the ex-AEW World Champion.
Keith expressed, “It’s been amazing. I didn’t foresee this when it initially happened. I was surprised and thrilled. I pride myself on being a student of the game. I’m a sponge, always ready to absorb, listen, and learn. I respect these professionals who have been in the industry for a long time and reached the pinnacle for a reason. Every moment spent around him is a learning opportunity. It’s even better that I can apply what I learn immediately and get instant feedback.”
He added, “I’m seizing every opportunity to learn, not only from him but also from the numerous veterans in AEW with vast knowledge and experience. It’s an honour to be in their midst. Specifically with Chris Jericho, I’m all ears, soaking in everything he says, and trying to apply it to my work. It’s like a secret strategy to success.”
On Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Keith and Big Bill triumphed over Top Flight.
