In other wrestling news, during the recent WWE NXT TV tapings, Ilja Dragunov had a match with Ridge Holland that ended in a no contest. The NXT Champion was taken away on a stretcher, leading to speculation about the severity of his injury.

However, Fightful has reported that the match and injury were actually part of a scripted storyline. It was described as “good acting” on Dragunov’s part, suggesting that the injury was not real. This revelation highlights the behind-the-scenes nature of professional wrestling and the art of storytelling within the ring.

In addition, The Nightmare Factory has filed to trademark the term ‘Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling’. This name holds significance as it was previously used by the late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes for a promotion he ran from 2000 to 2003. The filing indicates a potential revival or new venture associated with the TCW name.

Lastly, fans can look forward to tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event, which features matches between Natalya and Elektra Lopez, as well as Von Wagner and Edris Enofe.
