In a recent turn of events, professional wrestler AJ Francis posted on the social media platform, Twitter, reflecting upon an event where he, along with quoting himself, stood up for a Black woman which led to him being labelled as an “aggressive Black man.” He shared on his Twitter handle,
“I was apparently an ‘aggressive black man’ for advocating for a black woman.
And I would repeat it all over if need be.”
Moving ahead, Francis further clarified,
“Not a single individual could ever point out what I stated was ‘aggressive’ or ‘disrespectful’ because that is a baseless allegation. It never happened.
And that’s why we were brought back on board.”
AJ Francis, formerly known as part of WWE’s troupe called Hit Row, along with other members, was released in November 2021. B-Fab was released initially on November 4th, with the remaining members, including Francis, following on the 19th, even after Hit Row was drafted to SmackDown the same year. In an intriguing development, Francis, along with B-Fab and Ashante Thee Adonis, was then re-signed and drawn back into WWE in August 2022.
