On a recent episode of “Straight Talk Wrestling” podcast, AJ Francis, also known as Top Dolla and formerly of WWE, shared his perspective on the unrealized potential of the erstwhile WWE group, Hit Row.
This team was composed of Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Francis himself, Swerve Strickland, and B-Fab.
Here are some notable points Francis discussed in the podcast:
About the Hit Row team, he stated, “Indeed, a multitude of opportunities were squandered. Observe Swerve’s performance in AEW, my achievements in TNA, Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis’ work in NXT, and B-Fab’s endeavors. For one reason or another, a great deal of potential remained untapped. I believe it’s only a matter of time before history mends itself, particularly considering how well I’m doing. The individuals in WWE who ultimately chose to disband Hit Row are probably contemplating now, ‘Perhaps we could have done more. Perhaps we could have taken a different approach. Perhaps we could have given them a genuine opportunity.’”
Speaking about his experience with TNA, he remarked, “I find it gratifying because I have great affection for TNA. TNA has granted me a platform to express myself and to wrestle. I, along with PCO, took the spotlight at Slammiversary. Slammiversary stands as one of the major wrestling events hosted by any company each year, and PCO and I were at the heart of it.”
