Embracing his Steiner blood, Bron Breakker made a notable impact on Sami Zayn in the latest showdown of WWE RAW, reminiscent of his father and uncle’s wrestling legacy.
In the show, Breakker took on Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, who had previously triumphed over the second-generation Superstar at WWE Money in the Bank 2024.
However, it wasn’t all one-sided. Breakker also clashed with Ilja Dragunov during RAW, resulting in Dragunov winning the round following Breakker’s move to throw a chair at the Mad Dragon that led to a disqualification.
Opening up on RAW Talk, Breakker delivered his thoughts on Sami Zayn and did not hide his intention to continue pursuing the Intercontinental Championship. He stated,
“I have Sami Zayn and the Intercontinental Championship exactly where I want them. Yes, Sami Zayn defeated me at Money in the Bank, in what was my most challenging match so far. Imagine that, Sami Zayn, a WrestleMania main-eventer, defeating me, a newbie, in my first big league event. But, here’s the thing,
“I’ve been hearing all the doubters and the naysayers. Everyone wondering ‘how can Bron ever make a comeback from this?’ But here’s my answer. I am the dog here. I’m the tough one around here, built on effort, attitude, and grit. I will do whatever it takes to bounce back, to face Sami Zayn again, and to win the Intercontinental Championship.
“Don’t be mistaken. Yes, the marquee says Bron Breakker, but Sami Zayn, I’m getting ready to put you down Steiner style and take that Intercontinental Championship from you.”
Just a reminder of Breakker’s background, he was a presence at the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony that honored his father Rick Steiner and uncle Scott with their induction as a tag team.
