Anthony Bowens, a renowned figure in the wrestling world, recently made an appearance as a guest on the “Youngstown Studio” podcast. The discussion on the podcast revolved around diverse topics, including the incident when Jon Moxley “wiped him out” in reaction to Max Caster inciting Renee Paquette during one of his pre-match musical numbers.
In the May 19, 2021, edition of AEW Dynamite, Caster performed a rap, stating, “Call your girl, she all in my mentions, trying to hit me up for some Oral Sessions.” This statement stirred up some trouble, as it was referencing wrestler Jon Moxley’s wife, Renee Paquette and her podcast, Oral Sessions.
While recounting the incident during the podcast, Bowens shared, “The most infamous one was the one with Moxley where Caster brought up Renee and the Oral Sessions podcast. Just worded it a little bit differently. I hit the ring and before I could yell the city or AEW, I felt like I’d been hit by a bus—Moxley had obliterated me.”
Bowens revealed further, “I was completely taken aback. I found myself screaming, and the next thing I knew, I was on the floor. Needless to say, he wasn’t too pleased with that line.”
The podcast titled “Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed (AEW) talks wrestling, toy collecting, coming out & more” can be found on YouTube and various other platforms.
Looking forward to the forthcoming episode of ROH (Ring of Honor) TV, the series of matches lined up for this week includes an ROH Tag Team Championships Proving Ground Match, an ROH Women’s TV Championship Proving Ground Match, among others featuring names like Undisputed Kingdom, Che Cabrera & Bad Dude Tito, Billie Starkz, Red Velvet, and more.
