Even though Machine Gun Kelly, renowned rapper, aided Paul by providing a pair of brass knuckles, Knight rose victorious. His winning move was a perfect BFT against The Maverick that led to the title-winning pin.
Reacting to his defeat, Logan Paul turned to Twitter to express his feelings about his previous reign. His words echoed his sentiments,
“Being United States Champion for 279 days, the 3rd most extended US Title reign in WWE history, was a unique experience. I put all my strength into the championship in my hometown. The feeling of performing at the stadium where I grew up watching the Browns playing, was surreal.”
