Bobby Lashley marked his first appearance in AEW during last night’s Fright Night Dynamite.

In a match where Swerve Strickland was facing off against Shelton Benjamin, with MVP in his corner, Lashley made his surprise entry.

Just as the match concluded, the lights in the arena were turned off. The suspense was lifted as Lashley made his striking entry onto the AEW platform, making an assertive statement by launching an attack on the ex-AEW World Champion.

According to Fightful, there had been deliberations prior to this on having Lashley confront and ambush Strickland during AEW WrestleDream 2024.

Nonetheless, the execution of this plan was delayed following the dramatic end of the show where Bryan Danielson lost the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley.

Lashley made his official shift to AEW back in September, shortly after MVP had his debut during the Grand Slam episode of Dynamite. Benjamin made his entrance into AEW not long after.
