Matt Sydal, the wrestling world may know him better as Evan Bourne during his 2008 to 2014 stint in WWE, is set to undergo medical surgery today.
Previously, Sydal took to the wrestling mat on the episode of AEW Dynamite that aired on May 22nd, where he unfortunately lost to Konosuke Takeshita. Afterward, using social media platform Twitter, Sydal revealed that he is scheduled for a surgical procedure involving his right foot.
He expressed his feelings in a post, stating with fervor, “After 12 years of suffering, I’m getting my right foot fixed today. The surgeon has to break and re-fuse three bones, and apply a device to set my toes into the joints. Thank you to @AEW and our Medical Staff for the care. A heartfelt thanks to the fans who’ve been with me throughout. I cherish each and every one of you! Keep in mind, the best is yet to come…”
We convey our best wishes and hope for his quick and complete recovery.
