AEW Wrestler Announces Departure

Fuego Del Sol is no longer under contract with AEW. 

Del Sol made regular appearances at AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He went on a 34-match losing streak, which was broken on July 6, 2021, in a tag team match when he and Marko Stunt defeated Ryzin and Baron Black.[8

In August 2021,  Del Sol made his Rampage debut in an AEW TNT Championship match, losing to Miro. Post-match, he was given a main roster contract. He was mostly used on Rampage. 

Del Sol announced his AEW departure today via Twitter, noting he will be a free agent next month: 

Thank you AEW.

Though this chapter is coming to a close, this is just the beginning for Fuego Del Sol.
