Scorpio Sky made an exciting comeback to AEW in the 100th episode of Collision. With support from Christopher Daniels and Top Flight, Sky responded to Max Caster’s open challenge and emerged victorious in a dominant fashion, concluding the match in less than a minute with a pop-up cutter.
Sky participated in an AEW match for the first time since September 2023 after a year of hiatus. He resumed in-ring action in September 2024 and has consistently participated in matches since then.

In a recent episode of the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Christopher Daniels disclosed that the eye injury he was dealing with from 2022 to 2023 was not real.
Here are some key points from the podcast:
About his eye injury: “Actually, the injury was not real. It all started with the match I had with The Young Bucks, where SCU split, I got a black eye after being super kicked into the post. In three days, it healed. I then came up with the idea of using a contact lens to fake a blood-filled eye, which I got from a contact specialist. I then incorporated this as part of my character’s storyline as a scar of my failure leading to SCU’s split. I even considered retiring after the match.”
On presenting the idea to Tony Khan: “After being away from wrestling for several months, I pitched this idea to Tony and slowly returned to the Indies. Although we never fully developed this storyline, I used it as my re-entry point to the AEW with a match against Bryan when AEW acquired Ring of Honor.”
Regarding his ability to see through the lens: “Indeed, my vision was clear through the lens. The ironical part was during a signing, a visitor who happened to be a doctor was intrigued by my unusual eye condition. Little did she know it was all make-believe.”
