Fightful Select reports that Warner Bros. Discovery is in favor of expanding the AEW PPV schedule in the future, as the two sides are currently deep into negotiations to extend their TV rights deal.
The report noted, “Warner Bros Discovery sources confirmed to Fightful Select that one of the major proposals from their end to All Elite Wrestling as it relates to an extension is the subject of PPV (or PLE) events. Specifically, a WBD source told Fightful that they mentioned the very likely possibility of significantly expanding the AEW PPV schedule, even to one a month. We’re told that this is something that Warner Bros. Discovery has wanted.”
The report noted they’re unsure whether these monthly events would be standalone PPV events or part of the MAX streaming service.
AEW previously expanded their four-event PPV schedule last year with Forbidden Door before adding All In at Wembley Stadium next month.
There have been no broadcast plans revealed for All In as of yet.
