AEW fired CM Punk after he and Jack Perry had been suspended for their behavior at the AEW All In 2023 pay-per-view event this past Sunday, as they had a physical altercation before the pay-per-view event went live.

AEW launched an investigation into the matter, leading to it being recommended to Tony Khan that he fire Punk and that’s exactly what the AEW President did on Saturday.
