AEW Talent Expecting Hard Roster Split

There have been rumors for weeks about a roster split in AEW with the idea of building their reported Saturday show, AEW Collison, around CM Punk as a way to separate him from those who don’t like him.

Collision is expected to be announced this morning ahead of the June 17 premiere. 

Fightful Select reported that talent expects “a hard brand split, with the exception of many AEW Champions.” It’s unclear how AEW will go about the split, including if there will be a draft. 

AEW has brought back some absent talent as part of a strategic timing to go along with the premiere of Collision.
