Anthony Henry and J.D. Drake, collectively known as The WorkHorsemen, have come back to AEW following an extended absence due to injury-related issues.
Their comeback was unveiled during an intermission section during Wednesday evening’s AEW Summer Smash event.
After achieving a violent victory in a Street Fight against Gates of Agony, team members Big Bill and Bryan Keith were in the process of hunting down new opponents. Their search was interrupted by the unexpected return of The WorkHorsemen.
This event signifies the first time Henry and Drake have made a team appearance on screen since May 2024.
