All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will shortly be operating one player short.

Last few weeks notably marked Anthony Henry opening up about an injury. He suffered a biceps tear during a match with Gabe Kidd, contesting the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.

Following this, Henry underwent effective surgical procedures. His focus currently lies on healing from this additional harm.

Previously, Henry was a part of the team Workhorsemen showcased on ROH TV. Their last presence on AEW was in the first month of the year during the Collision event, squaring off against Sting and Darby Allin.

Earlier within this year, Henry had to withdraw from matches due to a fractured jaw. The incident happened when he was partaking in a Deadlock Pro Wrestling match. Within this match, Bryan Keith was defending the DPW National Title.

While he was healing from this injury, Henry was let go. However, he returned post receiving a medical all-clear.

Recently, through a post on his Twitter handle, Henry provided an update relating to his health and ongoing recovery.

His post read: “Apparently, I am an anomaly. Only about two weeks post-op, and I am out of the immobilizer and already moving freely with nearly full ROM. Fingers crossed BUT, I think I can be cleared in another 6 weeks. #workhorsemen.”
