AEW fans might have to wait a little longer for the company’s next pay-per-view.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Revolution has been pushed back to March 7. The event had been scheduled for February 27, but Meltzer stated that AEW settled on this new date to avoid scheduling conflicts with other popular pay-per-view events. (UFC’s next pay-per-view is on March 6 while Canelo Alvarez will return to pay-per-view with a fight on February 27.) This date would mark AEW’s first pay-per-view on a Sunday.
Meltzer previously reported the move in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. AEW has not officially announced the change yet.
As of this writing, the only match that has been confirmed for the show is a Street Fight between the teams of Sting & AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin and Ricky Starks & Brian Cage.
