Welcome once again to the eWrestlingNews Query of the Day!

The latest pay-per-view – AEW Revolution 2025, happened yesterday, and, as always, we are back for a comprehensive breakdown of key moments and disappointments.

Here is the query for today: “What were your most enjoyed and least enjoyed moments from AEW Revolution 2025?”

Regarding my own take on this…

Generally, I found the whole pay-per-view to be quite exciting, almost from beginning to end. Nearly every match was engaging, there were a handful of surprises, crucial developments took place and, as a fan, I ended my view feeling satisfied.

Starting with my least favorite moments, which were scarce, there weren’t many.

A minor point of criticism was the opening tag team match during the Zero Hour, I couldn’t grasp its purpose. The handling of the feud between Daniel Garcia and The Undisputed Kingdom felt like it could have been better. The Outrunners, Brody King, and Momo Watanabe, however, never really seemed likely to win their respective title matches, thus making it feel predetermined and less exciting.

Coming to the dominant takeaways, the Bandido narrative was kept alive through the Gravity angle which I thought was well done. Kenny Omega’s International Championship victory was a highlight for sure, but my top favorites were the Hollywood Ending title match and the steel cage match between Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.

These matches stood out due to their exceptional quality, and I am undecided on whether to pick the steel cage match as the better one, or if I should appreciate Toni Storm and Mariah May more for their match that gained my attention, despite me being indifferent to their feud in the past months.

All things considered, I found the event very entertaining. I would be taken by surprise if AEW conducts another event this year that matches or even surpasses this one. Though I certainly wish for it.
