AEW News – Palo Alto Honors Powerhouse Hobbs, Injury Update On Fuego Del Sol

Reigning TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs announced today that he will be honored with a “Powerhouse Hobbs Day” proclamation in Palo Alto, California. Hobbs wrote the following on his Facebook,

“I’m honored and proud to announce that tomorrow on the 24th day of March will officially be Powerhouse Will Hobbs day in the City of East Palo Alto.”

Hobbs will defend his title against Penta El Zero Miedo on this Saturday night’s episode of AEW Rampage.

AEW wrestler Fuego del Sol recently underwent surgery for a foot injury that was expected to sideline him for five to six weeks. Fuego del Sol tweeted,

“Two weeks Post surgery. Today the splint came off, stitches came out and now I’m in a cast for 4 weeks. Then the rehab begins. This process is not fun. Crutches are not fun. Missing wrestling is not fun. Trying to take it day by day and comeback stronger.”
