AEW News – MJF Defeats Roderick Strong, Samoa Joe/CM Punk, Collision Highlights
MJF defeated Ethan Page to retain his AEW World Championship on Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision. Following the match, MJF tweeted out the following:

Samoa Joe defeated Roderick Strong in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Cup tournament on Saturday night’s edition of AEW Collision. Following the match, Joe threw barbs at his longtime rival, CM Punk, who did commentary for the matchup.
Joe then grabbed a chair and threw it in the ring, nailing Strong with an Emerald Flowsion onto the chair. Punk then marched to the ring and confronted Joe before leaving as officials and medical staff tended to Strong.
Strong was then provided a neck brace and placed on a stretcher before being escorted out of the arena.
Punk will face Joe in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup next week. It is to be noted that Punk has never defeated Samoa Joe in 1-on-1 action.
Local paramedics come to the aid of Roderick Strong after the vicious attack at the hands of Samoa Joe.
