In a recent appearance on the Stories with Brisco & Bradshaw podcast, Colt Cabana provided an update on his status with AEW, noting that he is currently signed as a wrestler and producer.

While Cabana has made appearances for Ring of Honor, his last AEW match took place against Chris Jericho back in November. Cabana said,

“It’s unbelievable for me that that’s a reality right now at my age. I love it.”

Cabana also addressed the evolution of athleticism in professional wrestling. He said,

“It’s so fun for me to picture 20-25 years, the athleticism of what a wrestler will be able to do and to make stuff like Rey and Ricochet and Will Ospreay look pathetic, they’ll just look like sad wrestlers. That’s what excites me is the progression of it. The wrestling style has changed, but I hope everyone realizes it will change, it will always change, it will evolve.”

Taking to Twitter, Dax Harwood advised young talents to work house shows on a regular basis. Dax noted that he will be working a singles match at the AEW House Rules event in Tupelo, MS on June 2. He tweeted,

“If you’re a young wrestler, & you ain’t begging to be on these house shows, just get out. A rare singles match for me. Who should I wrestle? I plan on killing it in Tupelo, MS.”

Fightful Select is reporting that Kyle Fletcher was ill which is why he was absent from AEW TV this week. Fletcher attacked Orange Cassidy last week to set up a future International Championship match and then defeated Action Andretti on Rampage.

Fletcher was scheduled to compete on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite prior to getting sick.

And finally, the next ROH tapings are scheduled for June 3 and 4.
