AEW News – Chris Jericho On Jay White Choosing AEW Over WWE, Kenny Omega/NHL

In a recent appearance on The Battleground podcast, Chris Jericho shared his thoughts on Jay White signing with AEW and how WWE lost the former NJPW wrestler to Tony Khan’s company. White made his AEW television debut this past week on Dynamite.

Jericho said, “Jay White, what a great example of us still having momentum. Hottest free agent in the world. Silver platter for WWE. The guy is 6’4”, he’s international, he has the accent, which chicks love. He’s a great worker, great heel, great babyface. He chose AEW. If that doesn’t tell you that something is going on with us, I don’t know what will. Just to continue to build that momentum is a very exciting prospect.”

The Winnipeg Jets played a video narrated by Kenny Omega ahead of their game against the Minnesota Wild last night. The Winnipeg Jets won 3-1 to earn a spot in the NHL Playoffs. Omega tweeted:
