AEW News – Chris Hero/ROH, Danhausen, Jim Ross, Andrade El Idolo, Collision Highlights

Pwinsider is reporting that Chris Hero was working backstage at AEW Collision for the ROH taping last night. Hero produced matches for the ROH taping and donned the headset for multiple matches including the main event. Hero will reportedly work for the next few weeks, however, he is not officially part of ROH yet.

Pat Buck and Sonjay Dutt worked the taping as well as other coaches and producers. AEW’s Director Of Business Development Jeff Jarrett carried out backstage responsibilities ahead of Collision. Kevin Matthews helped out with logistics and ensured that talents were in their respective positions during the show.

Danhausen didn’t appear on the premiere episode of AEW Collision last night. Responding to a fan on Twitter, Danhausen revealed the reason for his absence. He wrote,

“I am injured. Tell the tv!”

Following the inaugural episode of AEW Collision, Jim Ross took to Twitter to apologize for the way he sounded during the show, noting that he will be taking some time off to heal.

Ross suffered a bad fall on Saturday, resulting in a black eye. He tweeted,

“Bad fall this morning. Still headed to Chicago for Collision! Historic night for ⁦@AEW on @tntdrama”

Andrade El Idolo was attacked by the House of Black following his victory over Buddy Matthews last night on AEW Collision.

Andrade took to Twitter to address the assault, He wrote,

“First, Andrade is back,” he said. “I feel very happy. And thank you, AEW fans. Thank you Chicago. And House of Black? See you in Canada.”
