Fightful is reporting that former Impact Wrestling Champion Steve Maclin recently suffered a groin tear, which compelled him to withdraw from tonight’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event. The injury will not require surgery.

Cody Deaner will replace Maclin in the scheduled tag team match with Bully Ray against PCO and Scott D’Amore at Slammiversary 2023.

There’s no word on Maclin’s timetable to return.
