Glad to have you on board for today’s eWrestlingNews Query Corner!
AEW Dynamite’s unique presentation, Fright Night Dynamite, will be gracing screens tonight from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Regularly, All Elite Wrestling positions these as mini-pay-per-views of some kind, typically featuring enticing match-ups that could shift the game entirely. After all, tonight’s line-up includes a title versus team match, where if Private Party doesn’t clinch the AEW World Tag Team Championship trophy, they’ll have to part ways.
Today’s burning question is, “What are your forecasts for AEW Fright Night Dynamite?”

My two cents on this…
Discussing the promotional segments of “hearing from Adam Page” and “Orange Cassidy live”, there’s not much we can speculate. I can see Page squabbling about Jay White, leading to some verbal contest and a tussle. Cassidy, I presume, will speak about his plans to confront Jon Moxley.
Regarding Adam Cole against Buddy Matthews, it would be dreadfully disappointing if this entire plot – Matthews’ claim that Cole is weak – were to come to life. No one hopes to see Cole’s comeback be marred by a weak display and be a dampener. I predict Cole to win, disproving Matthews.
Kris Statlander potentially defeating Kamille might be a hint at her gearing up for an eventual TBS Championship match. The easiest path to follow. Although I’m not a fan of Kamille losing this early, losing to one of the tallest female competitors somehow softens the blow. If they want an easy way out, Kamille will lose due to disqualification, a less frequented route in AEW. Could this end in a draw? That’s unlikely, but we can never rule that out. My prediction, though, sticks to Statlander’s victory.
My bet is on Swerve Strickland emerging victorious against Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin’s triumphs over Lio Rush and Sammy Guevara have boosted him, but let’s not be mistaken, the real catch is Bobby Lashley. Unless Lashley isn’t signing any time soon, and the narrative revolves around Benjamin defeating Swerve to make a point that he should join, or that Lio Rush sabotages Swerve for his own alliance with MVP, I’m guessing that Strickland’s the one who’ll stand tall in this fight.
Finally, the star matchup between Private Party and the Young Bucks. It wouldn’t be ground-breaking if the titles changed hands, especially as The Young Bucks could regain it soon after. However, when a match is tagged with an additional stipulation, as in this case, I instinctively swing towards that possibility. The recent storyline highlighted Zay and Quen’s stagnant progress as a team in the past five years. The plot would certainly add more spice if they lose and venture into individual pursuits. If they fail to create a stir as singles competitors (which I suspect might be the case), Tony Khan can still reunite them and earn fan cheers. Thus, my money’s on The Young Bucks retaining.
