According to a report from Fightful Select, there have been discussions within AEW about holding a pay-per-view event in December. As of this writing, there is no word on whether the show would be branded for AEW or ROH. Of course, ROH Final Battle has been a regular December pay-per-view event for Ring of Honor.

Several people on the AEW roster are under the belief that the event will be taking place on the final weekend of the year, either on December 29th (Friday) or December 30th (Saturday). The current belief is that the show is being planned for New York City. Madison Square Garden is unlikely due to WWE running their traditional post-Christmas live event on December 26th there. Due to WWE’s new agreements with the arenas they run, the World’s Most Famous Arena wouldn’t be able to promote AEW’s event until their competitor runs their event.

AEW Considering December Pay-Per-View Event in New York City

There has been recent speculation within All Elite Wrestling (AEW) about the possibility of holding a pay-per-view event in December. While it is unclear whether the show would be branded for AEW or Ring of Honor (ROH), discussions have taken place regarding this potential event.

According to a report from Fightful Select, several individuals on the AEW roster believe that the event will take place on the final weekend of the year, either on December 29th or December 30th. The current plan is for the show to be held in New York City, although Madison Square Garden is unlikely to be the venue of choice.

The reason for this is WWE’s traditional post-Christmas live event, which is scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on December 26th. Due to WWE’s agreements with the arenas they run, Madison Square Garden would not be able to promote AEW’s event until after WWE’s show has concluded.

While the specific details of the potential December pay-per-view are still unknown, this news has generated excitement among wrestling fans. AEW has quickly risen to prominence in the wrestling industry, providing an alternative to WWE with its unique roster and storytelling.

In other news, AC Mack and Rico Gonzalez have announced their engagement. Mack, who retired from the ring in July, shared photos on Twitter of Gonzalez proposing to him. The heartwarming post was captioned with the words, “When you know, you just know.”

This announcement adds a personal touch to the wrestling world, showcasing the love and happiness that can be found both inside and outside of the ring. It serves as a reminder that wrestlers are real people with lives beyond their professional careers.
