AEW Dynamite Will Pay Tribute To Brodie Lee, New Year’s Smash Moved Back A Week

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will honor the loss of Jon Huber, also known as Mr. Brodie Lee, who passed away this weekend. The show will pay tribute to Huber, and it will be filled with special matches for the occasion.

This Wednesday on #AEWDynamite, we’ll celebrate the life of Jon Huber (Mr. Brodie Lee) with a show including tributes and a special card of matches dedicated to The Exalted One. This night is intended to honor Jon, but also this is for Amanda, and their sons Brodie (-1) & Nolan.

Khan revealed the card for this special show, and it will feature many of AEW’s top stars:

In a related announcement, Khan announced that AEW New Year’s Smash has been pushed back a week. The event will now be spread across the first two episodes of AEW Dynamite. New Year’s Smash will feature an AEW World Championship Match, a heated battle between Darby Allin and Brian Cage, and more.
