AEW Dynamite Viewership Up For New Year’s Smash Night 2, NXT Drops To Just 550,000
All Elite Wrestling and NXT went up against more major news coverage after United States President Donald Trump was impeached for a historic second time. However, NXT was hit far more as Dynamite saw an increase in viewership for the second night of New Year’s Smash.
AEW Dynamite drew 762,000 viewers overall, which is up from last week’s 662,000. The show also drew a .30 rating in people 18-49 (up from a .25 last week). AEW was the No. 31 show on cable.
Per Showbuzz Daily, NXT viewership was down with just 551,000 viewers (from 641,000) and came in with a .14 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It was the No. 70 show on cable.
