AEW Dynamite Viewership Over 1 Million For CM Punk’s First Appearance

AEW Dynamite shoots above 1 million viewers.

This week, Dynamite saw an increase in viewership with CM Punk. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports AEW Dynamite drew 1,172,000 viewers on August 25. This number is up from the 975,000 viewers the show drew last Wednesday. In the 18 to 49 demographic, the show scored a 0.48 rating, an increase from last week‘s 0.35.

Brandon Thurston also noted the following:

“620,000 viewers were aged 18 to 49 (0.48 rating), the highest since the debut episode of Dynamite on October 2, 2019. Total viewership was the highest since April 14, which was the first episode after the end of the Wednesday Night Wars; Mike Tyson also appeared.”

This week’s show featured CM Punk and the ring and teasing the appearance of Daniel Bryan. Also, several new matches were made for the upcoming All Out pay-per-view.
