All Elite Wrestling has announced two new matches for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, including Mina Shirakawa vs. Anna Jay and Swerve Strickland vs. Kyle Fletcher in an AEW World Title Eliminator match.

You can check out the updated lineup for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite below:

* IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jon Moxley vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
* AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Kyle Fletcher
* Mina Shirakawa vs. Anna Jay
* Chuck Taylor chooses between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta.

Speaking of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match between Jon Moxley and Powerhouse Hobbs, Yota Tsuji isn’t a fan of AEW’s decision to have “Mox” defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hobbs.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Tsuji said,

“Where was the value of the IWGP? If Moxley has agreed to be the champion, then he certainly has the right to fight for the title. The problem is that New Japan Pro Wrestling didn’t say anything about it. What is that feeling? I wonder if they don’t feel any discomfort with that. I feel nothing but disgust and displeasure.”

He continued, “[Hobbs] may be a great fighter, but it’s strange that a fighter who has no connection to New Japan and has never been to New Japan is suddenly challenging for the top belt, even if he doesn’t win the [New Japan Cup]. I wonder if he has a visa. Even if he were to win the belt, would he be able to come to Fukuoka? I wonder how long they’ll continue to be beholden to AEW, which has no respect for the IWGP. We are lowering the value of the pinnacle by ourselves, and I think we have to break out of this situation.”

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has recently announced two exciting matches for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The lineup includes Mina Shirakawa facing off against Anna Jay and Swerve Strickland taking on Kyle Fletcher in an AEW World Title Eliminator match.

The addition of these matches has generated a lot of buzz among wrestling fans, who are eagerly anticipating the action-packed episode. AEW Dynamite has gained a reputation for delivering thrilling matches and captivating storylines, and this week’s lineup seems to be no exception.

In addition to the newly announced matches, the episode will also feature a highly anticipated IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match between Jon Moxley and Powerhouse Hobbs. However, not everyone is pleased with this decision.

Yota Tsuji, a prominent figure in the wrestling world, expressed his dissatisfaction with AEW’s choice to have Moxley defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hobbs. In an interview with Tokyo Sports, Tsuji questioned the value of the IWGP and criticized New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) for not addressing the situation.

Tsuji stated, “If Moxley has agreed to be the champion, then he certainly has the right to fight for the title. The problem is that New Japan Pro Wrestling didn’t say anything about it. What is that feeling? I wonder if they don’t feel any discomfort with that. I feel nothing but disgust and displeasure.”

He further expressed his concerns about Hobbs challenging for the top belt, despite having no connection to NJPW and never having competed there before. Tsuji even questioned whether Hobbs has a visa and raised doubts about his ability to come to Fukuoka if he were to win the belt.

Tsuji’s comments reflect a growing sentiment among some wrestling fans who believe that AEW’s partnership with NJPW is undermining the prestige and value of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. They argue that AEW’s disregard for NJPW’s traditions and lack of respect for the title could have long-term consequences for the wrestling industry.

As the controversy continues to unfold, fans are eagerly awaiting AEW Dynamite to see how these storylines develop and whether Chuck Taylor will choose between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta. AEW has consistently delivered exciting and unpredictable episodes, and this week’s lineup promises to be no different. Wrestling enthusiasts will be tuning in to witness the intense matches and see how the ongoing feud between AEW and NJPW unfolds.
