AEW Dynamite to Get Five-Minute Overrun

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will have a special treat for fans as it will feature a five-minute overrun. AEW President Tony Khan made the announcement on Twitter, expressing his gratitude for the amazing support from fans. He also mentioned that last week’s Dynamite was the number one show on cable and one of their best shows ever on AEW Collision.

The decision to have a five-minute overrun shows AEW’s commitment to providing an exciting and action-packed show for its fans. It allows for more time to showcase matches, storylines, and surprises, ensuring that viewers get the most out of their Dynamite experience.

AEW has been gaining popularity and recognition in the wrestling industry, and this recent success is a testament to their hard work and dedication. The company continues to push boundaries and deliver high-quality content that keeps fans engaged and entertained.

In other news, AEW has decided not to trademark the term “East West Express.” This name was used by Nick Wayne and Jordan Oliver during their time working together on the indie scene. The trademark abandonment was filed on December 19th, as seen in the official notice of abandonment.

The decision not to trademark the term may indicate that AEW is open to collaborations and partnerships with independent wrestlers. It shows their willingness to embrace talent from various backgrounds and give them opportunities to shine on a larger platform.

The trademark was intended to cover various merchandise categories such as bandanas, beanies, hats, shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, and t-shirts. While the trademark application has been abandoned, it does not necessarily mean that AEW won’t use the term in the future. It simply means that they won’t have exclusive rights to it.
