AEW Collision News – CM Punk Gets Booed, Main Event Result
On Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, the main event saw Jay White, Juice Robinson and The Gunns pick up a win over the team of CM Punk, FTR and Ricky Starks. White pinned Starks for the 1-2-3 following an assist from his teammates.
Surprising as the result was, the biggest story coming out of the show was the Toronto crowd’s reaction to CM Punk, and without the need for histrionics, it was in a similar vein to Hulk Hogan-The Rock at WrestleMania X8. Except, the 8-man tag team match meant that the dynamic was wildly distinct to anything else seen in professional wrestling.
Following the match, The Gunns joined Jay White and Juice Robinson with the “Too Sweet” gesture, seemingly joining Bullet Club Gold.
