All Elite Wrestling’s President Tony Khan recently got Jungle Boy the gift of music for Christmas, as he took to social media to reveal that he recently bought the rights to “Tarzan Boy” for the superstar.
The song, performed by Baltimora, was used by Jungle Boy throughout his stint in the independent wrestling scene. Presumably, the superstar was forced to change it after making it into the more mainstream wrestling outfits, but he did come out to the song once again during Tuesday’s episode of AEW Dark. After that, Khan took to Twitter to reveal that he had, in fact, purchased the rights to the song, before jokingly wishing the superstar a Merry Christmas.
Khan also recently purchased the rights to use Tom Waits’ “Ol’ 55” for perpetuity, so that AEW’s tribute for Brodie Lee will last forever.
Yes, I bought the rights to Tarzan Boy for @boy_myth_legend’s entrance. Merry Christmas, Jack. #AEWDynamite #AEWDark
