AEW Announces Inner Circle Vs. The Elite For Blood & Guts Main Event

It might be the match we all expected, but it’s the right match for this moment in time, and AEW knows that. On Mar. 25, the main event of Dynamite will be Inner Circle vs. The Elite inside the Blood & Guts double cage. Taking inspiration from WCW’s War Games, the two factions atop All Elite will engage in full-scale warfare in a battle that could be worthy of the name “The Match Beyond.”

The rules for AEW’s take on the double steel cage will be explained this coming Wednesday on Dynamite. NXT has also established its own iteration of War Games in recent times, so it’s likely that AEW will try to carve its own path to differentiate itself from WWE’s offering.
Cody tweeted out the announcement, saying that’s he’s familiar with the rules of a match that helped make his father famous. We’ll see what new twists AEW will have in store as he leads his team of Elite wrestlers against Jericho and his hit squad.
