Ric Flair’s professional collaboration with AEW has officially ceased, it has been confirmed.
Previously today, as reported here on eWn, Ric Flair, acknowledged as the “Nature Boy,” joined AEW. His involvement was part of a storyline that revolved around a gift Sting received from Tony Khan, President of AEW. Flair formed an alliance with Sting, which lasted until his retirement at the 2024 AEW Revolution event.
According to detailed reports from Fightful Select, Flair’s Wooo! Energy drink no longer sponsors AEW. Since the AEW Revolution 2024 event, Flair hasn’t made an appearance on TV and is not included in any current creative strategies. Notably, his name hasn’t cropped up in any talks for a considerable period now.
AEW’s association with Wooo! Energy has officially ceased. Tony Khan previously mentioned that the sponsorship agreement practically covered Flair’s earlier appearances on AEW.
