During the WWE Money In The Bank 2024 event held on Saturday night, an unexpected attack by CM Punk occurred against Drew McIntyre. This disrupted McIntyre’s bid to cash-in his Money In The Bank, leading to Damian Priest successfully defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship over Seth Rollins.
In a surprising post-show development, a provoked McIntyre assaulted Adam Pearce, the General Manager of WWE RAW, and other officials.
Subsequently, on Sunday, Pearce declared that besides imposing fines on Punk and McIntyre for their actions during the WWE Money In The Bank 2024 event, he had also issued an indefinite suspension on the Scottish Psychopath due to his post-event aggression.
Reacting to his suspension, McIntyre hurled a barrage of insults towards Pearce, stating,
“[If you were executing your duties appropriately, you would not have been a casual victim in the aftermath. You’re an inept, bald imbecile.]”
Pearce didn’t let McIntyre’s derogation go unnoticed and decided to double his penalty. The RAW General Manager tweeted in response, “[Make the most of your downtime! Your monetary penalty has now been enhanced twofold. Unsolicited advice: Minimize your time on social media.]”
Below, you can view the heated Twitter exchange:
Adam Pearce: “Relish your time off. You’re now subjected to twice the fine. Some free wisdom: Limit your tweeting.”
(WWE tweet: “#WWERaw GM @ScrapDaddyAP has some crucial updates: The Awesome Truth & Braun Strowman vs. Judgment Day @ZelinaVegaWWE & @reymysterio vs. @DomMysterio35 & @YaOnlyLivvOnce. AND: As a result of his actions post-#MITB, @DMcIntyreWWE has been suspended until further notice.”)
