In a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, WWE producer and former onscreen RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, shared his experiences about working with WWE stars, Brock Lesnar and Chelsea Green. Here are a few key highlights of what he recounted during the podcast:
He reflected on a humorous incident where he ended up splitting his pants after receiving two F5s from Brock Lesnar. Pearce recalled asking Brock about the specifics of the F5 move, promising to go easy. However, Brock assured him that wasn’t necessary. The unexpected result was the split pants, which only came to Pearce’s notice after he returned backstage and found everyone laughing. He humorously suggested that they also should try taking two F5s.
Pearce then let listeners in on how a second F5 from Brock wasn’t initially part of their act. Brock’s decision to deliver another F5 was majorly influenced by the crowd’s enthusiastic chant of ‘One more time.’ The moment they maintained eye contact for more than mere seconds, Pearce knew another F5 was on its way.
He also shed light on his backstage experiences with WWE diva, Chelsea Green. He praised her ability to engage the audience, and how he doesn’t really have to say much; his facial expressions often say it all. He even dropped in a helpful tip for upcoming wrestlers around facial expressions and emphasized focusing more on their eyes and facial reactions to improve their performance.
While recalling his experiences with Brock and Chelsea, Pearce’s admiration for their professionalism was perceptible. The anecdotes shared in the podcast certainly played a part in revealing the humorous and spontaneous moments behind the WWE curtains.
