Adam Pearce Open To In-Ring Return, Trick Williams Calls Roman Reigns His Dream Opponent

On a recent episode of the “Chaotic Good Sports” podcast, Adam Pearce, current General Manager of RAW, announced his openness to return to the ring if the WWE decides. Nonetheless, he stated that he isn’t necessarily keen on wrestling again, at least at this stage.

History reminds us of a potential face-off between Pearce and Roman Reigns, though it never materialized and instead, Reigns wrestled Kevin Owens.

Pearce expounded, Wrestling fans are often shocked when I say I don’t want to wrestle. I’ve had wonderful times, I’ve taken a lot of hits, I’ve enjoyed two decades of my life, and I had enough skillset that someone invited me onto a new path. I always say, live your passion, and when you reach the end, redefine the path and journey again. I’ve had many paths in pro wrestling, and I’m enjoying them all. If the point comes where they ask me to have a match, I won’t hesitate to get my hands dirty. I’ve already gauged my capacity with Bronson Reed. But, am I looking forward to this on a full-time basis? No, not a chance. I’m content just making things official.

In other news, the latest episode of WWE Speed is now available. It includes a semifinal match in the Women’s Speed Title tournament between IYO SKY and Naomi.

IYO SKY clinched a victory and will now enter the final, awaiting the victor between Kairi Sane and Candice LeRae.

Here’s the match footage:

Finally, an episode of the “Insight” podcast featured the two-times NXT Champion Trick Williams expressing his dream of battling it out with “The Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns in the ring.

He mentioned, The top spot in the business currently belongs to Roman Reigns. Let’s not forget Cody Rhodes, who’s also remarkable. However, Roman has been the mainstay in the business for quite some time. If you’re in WWE and don’t dream of a match with him, then you probably don’t belong here in the first place.”
