WWE RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, was a recent guest on the “Chaotic Good Sports,” podcast where he reminisced about his farewell match against Colt Cabana in 2015 and discussed the company’s effort in nurturing its NXT talent.

Here are some notable comments from Pearce’s interview:

Pearce on the intense grooming of WWE NXT talent: “So much happens behind the scenes that the public isn’t privy to. It’s this unrecognized work that puts WWE consistently at the forefront.”

Talking about his defeat against Colt Cabana in his retirement match: “In retrospect, everything unfolded perfectly. I wanted to leave the ring being defeated. Cabana was the best choice for that, and I was grateful to honor him that night. Let’s not forget the celebratory drinks we had afterwards.”

During another podcast appearance, this time on “Insight”, Bronson Reed shared his aspirations of teaming up with Otis to become the new ‘Natural Disasters’ duo if his solo career does not pan out as expected.

Here are some key takeaways from Reed’s interview:

Reed on the possibly of teaming up with Otis as the new Natural Disasters: “We could be known as Earthquake, Typhoon, Tsunami, and eventually Otis’ character could grow into Landslide [laughs]. If our solo careers don’t work out, Otis and I could definitely revive the Natural Disasters team.”

Reed’s experience of wrestling with Otis: “Last year, we competed against each other a few times. Those were mid-card matches, but they were a great deal of fun. We also had several live show matches against each other. Given our changed characters now, a repeat could be more interesting.”
