During the WWE Money In The Bank 2024 event on Saturday night, wrestling star CM Punk took the match in a new direction by launching an assault on Drew McIntyre. This unexpected turn of events hindered McIntyre’s cash-in in the Money In The Bank match and let Damian Priest retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship title against Seth Rollins.
Following the main event, in a state of seemingly uncontrolled rage, McIntyre lashed out, targeting WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and several other officials.
The WWE has now released a video in which Pearce reveals the WWE’s response to the events of Money IN The Bank 2024. He announces that fines have been levied on Punk and McIntyre for their disruptive actions. In addition, he declares that The Scottish Psychopath is suspended for his attacks after the show.
Pearce also hinted that more announcements relating to this incident will be broadcast on the upcoming RAW episode.
