Adam Pearce, the current General Manager of Monday Night RAW, announced this week that he regards this responsibility as the apex of his professional journey. Pearce, who previously held the title of NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, started to emerge as a significant figure in WWE early in 2020. By October 2023, WWE’s Triple H had promoted him to the position of RAW’s General Manager.
During a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, Pearce opened up about the likelihood of returning to the ring for one more fight and his present duties in WWE. He shared his sentiments saying,
“I’ve been inactive for a decade. The 21st of December this year signifies ten years since I participated in my last professional bout… Serving as the RAW GM represents the climax of my professional and performing careers. I am optimistic that this will extend into the future.”
Pearce also mentioned a speculated bout with his counterpart, SmackDown GM and former NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis. However, Pearce believes neither of them are keen on such a confrontation. He stated,
“I have the impression that neither Nick nor I have any intention to seek a high-profile role like that. I believe we are both satisfied, extremely privileged, and honoured to oversee our current roles within WWE.”
