According to Deadline, the AEW wrestler finds himself nominated for the Children’s & Family Emmy. Specifically, he has been recognized in the Best Supporting Performer in a Preschool, Children’s, or Young Teen Program category, for his depiction of the character Ares in the Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Copeland is vying for the prestigious award alongside fellow castmate Lance Reddick (known for his role as Zeus), Amanda Lawrence (who plays Matron Shipley in the Malory Towers series), Elizabeth Mitchell (known for her role as Mrs. Claus in The Santa Clauses), Sarah Rafferty (who plays Katherine Walter in My Life with the Walter Boys), and Eric Stonestreet (known for his role as The Mad Santa in The Santa Clauses).
