In an exclusive discussion with TMZ Sports, the former TNT Champion, Adam Copeland, sheds light on his recovery journey after a severe leg injury that he suffered in the previous year.
Recently, on the episode of AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen, Copeland decided to trim his ring nickname to “Cope”.
The interview was filled with intriguing elements and delivered a lot of insights. Below are some key moments extracted from the interview:
On his recovery from the broken leg injury: Copeland stated, “I’m fit and ready for action. My entire body, including my leg, feels in perfect condition. I’ve received the medical green signal around three months ago, but considering the catastrophe brought about by the Hurricane, it was a collective decision to take care of the home front first, then shift focus back to professional commitments.”
On his enthusiasm to make a comeback to the ring: He shared,“I feel ecstatic and my body feels incredibly resilient. During the interval, I’ve sustained optimal health, made regular visits to the ring, and even reached my peak at gym workouts. I am all prepared.”
The interview can be watched in a video shared by TMZ Sports, where Adam Copeland in flesh opens up about his Emmy Nomination besides hinting at his AEW return.
