On the most recent episode of the “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, Adam Copeland, a prominent wrestler at AEW, recounted a memorable incident. He shared how a fan made an autograph request at a rather inopportune moment – while Copeland was inside a restroom stall.

Copeland narrated, “I distinctly remember this one guy approaching me. I had just arrived from a flight or something similar, and was catching up with a few friends at Perkins. I needed to use the restroom, so I made my way there and while I was in a stall, a guy slid a piece of paper underneath to request my autograph. I honestly thought, ‘Really, could there be a worse time to do this?’ I had a strong urge to just step on the paper and pee on it, but I decided against it. Instead, I gave him my signature but I made sure to tell him that this wasn’t the appropriate way to conduct things.”

At the moment, Copeland is undergoing a recovery process due to a leg injury he suffered during the AEW Double or Nothing 2024 pay-per-view event last month.
