In a recent media press briefing following 2024’s AEW Worlds End, Adam Copeland shared his experiences on his injury at AEW Double or Nothing event, his recovery process, and his future steps.

Concerning his AEW Double or Nothing injury, Copeland expressed that it was in his nature to take unprecedented risks, noting this propensity as a hallmark of his career. Nonetheless, he admitted that with aging and parenting responsibilities, he had become more discerning about the risks he engaged in.
Next, on the issue of his recovery, Copeland described his recuperation as resembling Wolverine’s healing ability. While he acknowledged having regained fitness sooner, other pressing life matters, such as a local hurricane incident, demanded his attention. He emphasized that the AEW environment appreciated and upheld this value of life’s priorities.
In terms of his ambition for 2025, Copeland revealed that he has set his sights high. Goals on his horizon include winning both the Tag Team Championships and Trios Championships and going after the World Heavyweight Championship.
Lastly, on contributing more to AEW, Copeland shared his initial approach of creating an identity in AEW, but he asserted that time for a laid-back attitude had passed.
