AEW TNT Champion, Adam Copeland, recently expressed his interest in having a face-off with Jon Moxley. He believes such a showdown will attract a significant number of fans.
In a recent conversation on the podcast “Close Up with Renee Paquette,” Copeland humorously mentioned his desire to shorten his name to ‘Cope’. Further expressing his interest in fighting against Jon Moxley, he shared his thoughts saying,
“I’m slowly trying to transition to just ‘Cop.’ It’s because ‘The Rated R Superstar Adam Copeland’ is a tad bit long. When I envision it on a marquee, ‘Cope vs. MOX.’ captures attention.”
It’s interesting to note that despite both being ex-WWE stars, Copeland and Moxley have not crossed paths in the ring. When Moxley, previously known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, was introduced to WWE’s main stage, Copeland had already retired.
Upon Copeland’s return to the wrestling scene, Moxley was no longer part of WWE. He had signed up with AEW less than a year before Copeland’s return.
